Revanth Reddy in Delhi to push 42% BC quota

THE entire Congress top brass landed in Delhi to push the 42% reservations to Backward Classes (BC). Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy reached Delhi on Tuesday and he, along with Opposition leader in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and scores of other Congress MPs, would take part in a massive dharna near Jantar Mantar on Wednesday.
As part of the three-day programme to push the BC reservations, the Congress MPs gave notice for moving the adjournment motion in Lok Sabha on Monday to discuss the 42% reservations to BCs. When their notice was rejected, the Congress MPs from Telangana staged a protest demonstration in the premises of Parliament and raised slogans in favour of enhanced reservations to BCs.
