Tech glitch marks 32 MKU students absent in internals

Though they have submitted the assignments on time, the MA (Public Administration) fourth semester students of distance education stream at Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) were in for a shock when the marksheets were released, as it was written 'absent' against the internal marks column of Research Methodology paper.
As many as 32 students have been pursuing the course via distance education the university and it was marked 'absent' against the internal exam in all their marksheets. The students said they were asked to submit the assignments for internal marks in December 2024, and the exams were held from February 5 to 8, 2025, and the results published on March 29.
