GEARING up for a major transformation, Munderikadavu Bird Sanctuary in Munderi grama panchayat, Kannur, has launched the first phase of an eco-tourism project.
A favourite destination for bird enthusiasts, Munderikadavu is known for its rich variety of avian species, including migratory birds that flock here every season. With over 500 bird species and many fish, crabs, ants, and other flora and fauna here, extensive facilities are being developed to enhance the experience of bird watchers and tourists alike.
