BJD slams state govt's decision to allow inspectors, SIs to probe ST/ST atrocities

THE BJD has opposed the state government's recent decision to allow inspectors and sub-inspectors to investigate atrocities cases of SCs and STs instead of DSPs by amending the relevant rules.
Addressing a media conference here, Opposition chief whip Pramila Mallick, party vice-president Sudam Marndi and media coordinator Priyabrata Majhi alleged that the move has exposed anti-Dalit and anti-tribal character of the BJP government.
