Lebogang Phiri has not given up on the prospect of finally playing in the Betway Premiership, despite failing to secure his dream move to Kaizer Chiefs.

Phiri, currently a free agent, returned to South Africa after his contract with French Ligue 2 side Guingamp expired at the end of last season.

Talks with Amakhosi ahead of the new season tour of the Netherlands failed to bear fruit. However, the 30-year-old, who spent more than a decade playing in Europe, told Radio 2000 that he remains open to offers from other Betway Premiership clubs.
