ED'S SEEN ENOUGH... ISAK SAGA ENDS NOW OR NEVER

Toothless Toon have finally taken initiative over summer's trauma... with not a moment to spare!
-
IT is an open wound that has hurt them all summer, but finally Newcastle have seized the initiative over Alexander Isak.
Nick Woltemade (left) was at Elland Road last night to cheer them on after sealing a move from Stuttgart in a club-record £69million deal.
And the Toon want to sign another striker before they will consider allowing Isak to join Liverpool.
A £55m offer for Jorgen Strand Larsen was rejected by Wolves and a £40m bid for Yoane Wissa knocked back by Brentford.
Newcastle needed to act because they knew they were desperately short of firepower.
Anthony Gordon's red card against Liverpool meant that Danish striker William Osula made his first Premier League start for Newcastle against Leeds here, alongside Jacob Murphy.
Osula's finish against Liverpool - his third Toon goal - shows his potential and he battled well, with a shot blocked by Gabriel Gudmundsson. He also put himself about and won a free-kick off Wilfried Gnonto, for which the Leeds striker was booked.
