Big fan Stan warns Reo against a risky move

The same box-to-box energy, a similar nose for goal and desire to create for his team-mates.

It was all on show again in Saturday’s 5-1 thrashing of Kilmarnock that moved Celtic to within a point of another title.

But now the 27-year-old has reached the same age as the Bulgarian when he decided to end his love affair with the Hoops he’s not so sure he wants the parallels to continue.

Last summer Celtic turfed out a £10m transfer bid from France for the Japanese powerhouse.

But after three-and-a-half years in Glasgow and with fresh interest expected in the next transfer window speculation is building as to whether a parting of the ways could be looming.

With three years left on his contract it would take another whopping offer for Celtic to even consider selling.

Even then Petrov reckons Hatate would have to think long and hard over whether he would be making the right move - as one look at his compatriot Kyogo Furuhashi proves.
