Hit-and-run leaves man with possible 'life-changing' injuries

A man has suffered potentially “life-changing” injuries after being hit by a car whose driver failed to stop.
-
The 38-year-old was struck by a dark-coloured car on Montefiore Drive, Sarisbury Green, around 3am on Thursday, causing serious injuries to his pelvis.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment and his condition is described as stable.
A road closure was in place throughout the morning to allow enquiries to be undertaken.
