YORKLEA MARKS 35TH ANNIVERSARY AND PAYS TRIBUTE TO BELOVED MANAGER

A much-loved care home in Chorlton, which laid the foundations for a thriving family-run business, is marking an emotional milestone as it celebrates its 35th anniversary. Yorklea, part of Olea Care Group, has been a trusted presence in the community since opening in 1990.

From the beginning, the home has remained committed to providing the highest quality of care, working closely with residents, relatives, and friends to help every individual maintain their wellbeing and independence. What began as a small partnership has since evolved into a strong family organisation with three generations actively involved in its management and development. Many original team members still work within Olea Care Group today, helping guide its growth from 33 places to more than 120 across Manchester.
