There were about 1,400 fight fans at the venue and they saw Fraser Weightman, right, make a winning return to action after a 12-month break.

Head coach Jag Johal admitted he had doubts about matching the former British, Commonwealth and European champion against Pavlos Kochliardis after such a lengthy absence.

Kochliardis is a veteran of 60-plus bouts and has been fighting regularly. But Weightman dominated him over six rounds, beating him clearly on points.

Weightman has fought at the top level as a professional after winning ISKA world amateur honours - and Bilal Husainkhel is looking to follow in his footsteps.
