It'll be a Far Cry from the games.

And clearly I'm not the only one who holds the series in such high regard, because news has just broken of a new Far Cry television adaption.

But, instead of exciting me, I can't help but fear that we've seen this same mistake over and over again.

This new-normal of a beloved video game franchise being twisted, corrupted and distorted to fit the TV formula is becoming incredibly infuriating.

And what's even more infuriating is that it keeps happening to franchises that I adore.
