Modi may squeeze in pull-aside meets with UK, Japan, Aus PMs

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has received a flurry of requests for bilateral meetings from countries that count among key allies and associates during the G20 summit in New Delhi this weekend, but he might not have enough time for full structured meetings beyond the ones already scheduled, people aware of the matter said on Thursday
Modi returned from the Asean summit in Jakarta around 7pm on Thursday. He is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Mauritius and Bangladesh, Pravind Jugnauth and Sheikh Hasina respectively, and US President Joe Biden on Friday, ahead of the G20 Summit.
Such is the time crunch that both Biden and Hasina are likely to drive straight to Lok Kalyan Marg from the airport to hold meetings with Modi on Friday evening, said the people quoted above.
French President Emmanuel Macron is also likely to meet Modi for lunch on September 10, the people added.
