AAP and BJP Trade Barbs Over Atishi's Victory Celebration

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Union minister Anurag Thakur on Sunday criticised outgoing Delhi chief minister Atishi for celebrating her victory in the Kalkaji assembly constituency, alleging that her actions reflected indifference to the defeat of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia.
LUCKNOW/NEW DELHI:
In widely shared videos on social media platforms, the AAP leader was seen celebrating her victory from the Kalkaji constituency in the assembly elections, dancing during a road show.
"Her dance was not just about winning one seat; it meant something much more," Thakur said, talking to reporters in Lucknow.
