BRENDAN RODGERS insists he was in the dark over Adam Idah being left in limbo ahead of the Old Firm clash.

And the Celtic boss has warned the club will need to light up the final 24 hours of the window - or face more snoozefests like the Ibrox stalemate.

The two rivals slugged it out yesterday and there could be a repeat today, with reports last night claiming both clubs had submitted loan offers for Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.

Rodgers was struggling for attacking options at Ibrox and was without Idah, the striker stuck in no man's land amid a move to Swansea.

The Irishman headed to Wales on Friday for a medical after the clubs thrashed out a £6million-plus fee and personal terms were agreed.

But Celts pulled the plug as their bid to land Anderlecht's Kasper Dolberg stalled.
