A GIRL aged 12 who overdosed after making a rape allegation told her mum she did not want to let the attacker “get away with it” but hated talking about it, an inquest heard.
Semina Halliwell died in hospital in June 2021 after taking medication at her home in Southport.
Her mother Rachel told the hearing at Bootle Town Hall on Monday her daughter might still be alive if she had received better support from police, social services and the school.
