Real shock gives Merino belief PSG can be conquered

IF Arsenal play as good a game as Mikel Merino talks, they will not have a problem in Paris.

Against a Paris Saint-Germain side that won more plaudits for their 1-0 win at the Emirates on Tuesday, the Gunners now face a big challenge to reach the Champions League final.

But Merino is convinced Arsenal will win the return on Wednesday, and that the two teams were separated by only the finest of margins in the first leg in London.

The Spain midfielder said: "You have seen a team that can compete against a huge side like Paris.

"I don’t know if you have seen Paris in the whole season but they are a really dominant team. They want to keep everybody in their own box and we managed to play a lot. We created big chances.
