Bank pays £62m to settle Epstein sex traffick claim

A MULTIMILLION dollar lawsuit which questioned Prince Andrew's claims about ending his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein has been settled.
American banking giant JP Morgan Chase has agreed to pay £61.6million to the US Virgin Islands after claims the bank enabled the sex trafficking acts committed by the late sex offender.
More than £45million of the agreement will go toward local charities and assistance for victims. And another £16million will go toward legal fees.
JP Morgan confirmed the deal yesterday, saying it did not admit liability as part of the deal but "deeply regrets" working with Epstein.
