ISHONDS Old Boys’ striker Ben Morris followed up last week's hat-trick with another three goals but they were in vain as newly-promoted AFC Bohemia moved into pole position in the Senior Division with an 8-4 victory.

- Derek CUMNER

Bohemia led 6-1 at halftime, with Sebastian Wall also on target for Fishponds.

Second-placed Cosmos FC were awarded a walkover against Bromley Heath United Reserves.

Alvan Juma completed a hat-trick for third-placed Wessex Wanderers Reserves who were rewarded for transferring their game against Broad Plain House Reserves with a 4-1 victory. Substitute Ethan Culver scored their other goal.

There was another hat trick at Elm Park as Matthew Hoare followed two first-half goals with a third on 85 minutes. Theo-Sean Boulton, Said Hassan and Ryan Nixon were also target for Filton Athletic Reserves in a 6-0 win against Lawrence Weston Athletic.

In a derby at Filwood, hosts Hartcliffe FC edged out Brislington 2nds 2-1.

With St Vallier dropping down divisions, it was not until August that third-placed Almondsbury Reserves were promoted to the Premier Division. Reece Rogers gave them a 44th-minute lead at home to Phoenix NG. Rogers added his second eight minutes from the end to send them to the top of the table.

Callum Cannings, Tom Trimble and Aaran Stewart were the Wessex Wanderers marksmen in a tough game at BAWA against Jamaica Bell, whose goal came from Joel Myers.
