Piaget revisits the cushion-shaped watch Andy Warhol wore with a vibrant homage to his polaroid portrait.

The relationship between horology and art has always been one of quiet devotion—watchmakers have long drawn inspiration from painters, sculptors, and architects, translating their visions into miniature mechanical worlds.

Yet few collaborations feel as natural, as historically grounded, as Piaget's partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation. After all, Warhol himself was an avid collector of Piaget watches, owning seven by the time of his death in 1987, including the iconic cushion-shaped reference 15102 he acquired in 1973.

Now, a year after formalising their partnership and restoring the name “Andy Warhol Watch” to that very design, Piaget and the foundation have unveiled something remarkable: a 50-piece limited edition that captures the Pop Art icon's visual language through the ancient craft of marquetry.
