Police hold checking campaign keeping a close watch on suspicious persons

Police is running a checking campaign by setting up blockades to keep an eye on suspicious persons and to ensure compliance of traffic rules. It is often seen that drivers commit a crime on a motorcycle or other vehicle without a number plate. At same time, some youths ignore traffic rules by applying black film on their vehicles. On one hand, due to non-compliance of traffic rules by drivers, road accidents increase, on other hand, criminals also take advantage of it. As per orders of Superintendent of Police Kurukshetra Nitish Agarwal, special checking campaigns are conducted by setting up blockades from time to time. Under checking campaign, vehicles are thoroughly checked by setting up blockades across district and suspicious persons are kept under surveillance.
