Unfortunately, my mother had a stroke six months ago and she now requires support with getting dressed and bathing and staying safe. I have been told that she cannot apply for Attendance Allowance and must apply for Pension Age Disability Payment. Why is this? Why can she not apply for Attendance Allowance, the same as my father?
