This is summer and our second issue of The Carp Angler is in your hands – welcome! During November and December the days are sometimes sun-drenched, sometimes rain-washed, but always warm with maybe just a gentle breeze – these are the typical days of summer, with long hours between sunrise and sunset. It is a time to be on the bank, rods resting in their pods and the bite alarms set to send their shrill tunes into the quiet.
This issue, as we seemingly rush through November into December’s vacation pandemonium, is designed to not only educate but also to entertain (in publishing circles known as “edutainment”). The end product will, we hope and trust, provide readers with sufficient inspiration to go out there with renewed vigour – and confidence – to land what must be the best present of all, namely a new PB!
