I can't thank college's staff enough for all their support

HI, my name is Ned and I am 25 years old. I love performing arts and I love basketball and I love Truro College. I also love my family and Thave made some really great friends at college. I am waiting for more heart surgery and I also have Down Syndrome. I work with the Cornwall Down Syndrome Advisory Group. I finished my three-year Progression Pathways course at Truro College on July 4, and can I say a big thank-you, please, to all the amazing staff there? They are awesome and they are the best. They are so kind and they have helped me so much. When I get worried about my operation, and when I am not well, they help me.

I started college in 2022 just after I had lost my Grandpa. I was so sad. My college staff were very kind and organised for me to see a mental health youth worker. That helped me a lot. I made a memory box and my college supported me to swim 500 lengths of the pool in my weekly swimming sessions in the summer term.

That raised more than £3,000 for the hospice that cared for my wonderful Grampi.
