Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said the process for forming the new NDA government in the state will formally begin on 10 May with the election of the BJP Legislature Party leader, while the swearing-in ceremony of the new Council of Ministers is scheduled for 12 May in Guwahati.
Speaking to reporters, Sarma said the BJP Legislature Party meeting would take place at 10 a.m. on 10 May, during which the party’s leader in the Assam Assembly would be elected.
