Strong sales lift Del Monte’s profit in H1

Singapore and Philippinelisted Del Monte Pacific Ltd. (DMPL) saw its net profit skyrocket to $22.3 million in the first half of its fiscal year 2026 from $2.7 million in the same period last year as a result of higher sales and strong margin expansion.

DMPL’s sales in the sixmonth period ending October 2025 went up by 11 percent year-on-year to $438.6 million on the back of a 16-percent increase in fresh pineapple sales and a 10-percent growth in the Philippines.
In the second quarter alone, net profit expanded by seven-fold to $16.8 million from $2.3 million, reflecting strong operational efficiency and market demand.
