DOLLY DE LEON ON PLAYING TWINS, WORKING ABROAD AND WHY SHE STILL CALLS CUBAO HOME

"I'm excited because it's such an iconic show. Tsaka pinapanood 'to ng mga anak ko. So when I told my daughter, ang sabi niya talaga, 'Kailangan mo gawin 'yan!'"

Though details are still under wraps, Dolly confirmed that she's playing not just one, but two characters — twins Lo and Li who work in a fire station and serve in some kind of advisory capacity to Princess Azula, played by Elizabeth Yu.

"First time kong gumanap ng twins. Masaya, nag-e-enjoy ako," she shared. "Very technical... palit ng costume, palit ng angle. May stand-by na Pinay din na stand-in ko."

The project, which was shot in Canada, is her latest foray into big foreign productions. Dolly, who is currently part of Season 2 of "Nine Perfect Strangers," is headed back abroad for another shoot that will take her from August until October.

"Finished na 'yung Season 2. They're continuing with more seasons, so babalik ako ulit," she said.
