The New Indian Express Tirunelveli
|August 08, 2025
To solve all the queries related to one's travel plans by optimising artificial intelligence, India's largest online travel company—MakeMyTrip (MMT)—has come up GenAI-enabled Trip Planning Assistant, which claims to assist users at every stage of travel planning from discovery to fulfilment and beyond.
Users would find conversational assistance through their entire journey, from destination-discovery, shopping, in-trip, and post-sales scenarios. MMT said that the new GenAI Trip Planning Assistant is a big upgrade to the existing AI agent, Myra, and will make the experience seamless and conversational, enabling travellers to interact via voice and text.

So You Think You are an Empath?

This is popcorn for the brain, a topic I have addressed in an earlier column; we ingest everything, gulp it down, then move quickly on to the next snippet. Who really has the time to linger?
