Forest dept bans tourist entry to Ambanad-Achankovil stretch

THE FOREST department has imposed a ban on tourist entry along the 13-km stretch from Ambanad to Achankovil on the 28-km Kazhuthurutty-Ambanad-Priya Estate-Achankovil road, citing the strong presence of wild elephants, leopards and bears.
