Bihar BJP on Tuesday demanded that the matter should be handed over to CBI as it involved huge public money. Leader of Opposition in Bihar assembly Navin Kumar Sinha said that CBI probe would unravel the truth behind collapse of the bridge.
"The bridge collapsed for the second time in the last one year. This shows the quality of material being used in the construction work. Even chief minister Nitish Kumar had expressed his displeasure over the poor quality of work," he said.
