KZN cops nabbed 8 000 suspects during Operation Shanela

THE KwaZulu-Natal police said 121 suspects wanted for’ murder were among 8221 suspects arrested during Operation Shanela II.
The operation was launched in Cape Town on June 26. In a statement yesterday, the KZN provincial police said various operations were held in all eleven districts of the province.
Operations included stop and searches, roadblocks, suspect raids, cordon and searches, as well as inspections of liquor outlets.
