St. Anne's meet St. Benedict's after dramatic semi-finals

St. Anne's College, Kurunegala pulled off a stunning three wickets victory over tournament favourites Devapathiraja College, Rathgama to book a berth in the Under 19 Division I Tier 'B' tournament final against St. Benedict's College.
The Tier 'B' final will be played at Surrey Village ground Maggona today.
An unbeaten half century by Sanuja Dissanayake helped St. Anne's accelerate towards the end to seal the victory with two balls to spare. They scored 50 runs in the last five overs as Dissanayake cracked three fours and six sixes in his 67 which came in 54 balls.
Chasing 248 runs to win, they were given a strong start by openers Sanuka Kemsara (29) and Dinuga Abeysekara (65 runs in 71 balls) who put on 91 runs for the first wicket. Ishan Khan made 36.
