SWANSEA City head coach Russell Martin has admitted he has 'empathy' for Morgan Whittaker after he was recalled from a hugely successful loan spell at Plymouth Argyle.
The talented 21-year-old attacker had played a major part for the League One leaders this season, scoring nine goals and getting seven assists as well.
However, he was recalled by Swansea on Tuesday, amid speculation that he could sold by the Championship during the January transfer window to raise funds for new signings.
It emerged yesterday that the elsh outfit had rejected a bid from an unnamed club with Argyle's League One promotion rivals - and weekend opponents - Ipswich Town said to be keen on his services.
