THE sparkle and spirit of Christmas was brought to the people of Plymstock during four performances of Elf Jnr by a cast of young actors.
Plymstock School students take centre stage

A cast of 61 performing arts students treaded the boards in Plymstock School's purpose-built Performing Arts Centre, alongside a further team of four key students involved in the lighting, sound design, and stage management of the event.

A team of 37 additional students volunteered their assistance for the events, dealing with tickets and refreshments, as well as acting as ushers for the event, fully embodying the school's core values of working hard, aiming high and being kind.

As part of a wider commitment to enable all students in the local community an opportunity to access the best cultural events available, Plymstock hosted more than 300 local primary school students from Morley Meadows, Elburton, and Oreston - for some, it was their first experience of live theatre.
