It looked as though we were in for another defeat after the visitors scored their first try within the first two minutes of kick-off, however, our boys played exceptionally well, clawing back the win in rubbish conditions to beat the Richmond boys 18-10.
Due to the close nature of the league, the win has boosted us two points ahead of Darlington Mawden Park and Richmond, sitting pretty in fifth position, giving us a little bit of breathing space.
We have a tough end to the season now, given that three out of our last four games are against teams above us in the table. The lads are going to have to leave everything in the 2023/24 campaign.
