Liquidation looks likely for manor house firm

A COMPANY involved with the plush Langdon Court Manor, near Plymouth, is on the verge of going into liquidation.

Langdon Court Manor Ltd has called a meeting of creditors for tomorrow and will ask them to nominate liquidators. Creditors have been given until 4pm today to submit proof of their claims if they want to vote in the meeting. A public-record notice placed in The Gazette says the meeting will be held online at 11am tomorrow.

It stated: "The primary purpose of the virtual meeting is for creditors to consider a decision on the nomination of liquidators, and if the creditors think fit, to appoint a liquidation committee. Any creditor entitled to attend and vote at the meeting is entitled to do so either in person or by proxy."
