STURROCK TO BE INDUCTED INTO ARGYLE'S HALL OF FAME
CHRIS ERRINGTON
FOREVER A GREEN!

PAUL Sturrock will be formally inducted as a Forever Green icon when a 20th anniversary reunion of Plymouth Argyle's 2003/04 title winners takes place at Home Park in July.

Sturrock turned around the Pilgrims from being a mid-table Division Three (League Two) team when he was first appointed as manager in October 2000 and took them to the top of Division Two (the Championship) before being lured away to the Premier League by Southampton in March 2004.

Argyle went on to win the title that season, although after nine games with Sturrock's assistant boss Kevin Summerfield in caretaker charge the change was then made to appoint Bobby Williamson as the permanent manager.
