Shinde-Fadnavis on Samruddhi drive

As the deputy CM was behind the wheels, the NCP uploaded a video of the event and took a swipe saying that Devendra Fadnavis is in the driver's seat when it comes to running the Government

Ahead of the formal inauguration of the Samruddhi Mahamarg's first phase of 520 km between Nagpur and Shirdi by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Dec 11, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his deputy Devendra Fadnavis travelled on the newly-built expressway to take a first-hand experience. They were accompanied by the officials from the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC).

Mr Fadnavis, who was on the wheels of Mercedes Benz G-350d, with Mr Shinde on the next seat, covered the distance between Nagpur and Shirdi in four hours and 45 minutes at 150 km per hour.
