“First of all, our economy is not faltering,” Jaishankar said, contending that Biden’s comments did not match reality.
India has always been “open and welcoming” to people from diverse societies, Jaishankar said.
“India has been a very unique country. I would say, actually, in the history of the world, that it has been a society which has been very open... different people of different societies come to India,” the minister said at a roundtable.
