Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has assured that both the Central and state governments are fully committed to ensuring there is no shortage of funds for the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh Mela in Nashik and Trimbakeshwar.

Speaking at a public meeting after inaugurating Kumbh Mela development works, he said projects worth Rs6,000 crore have already been launched, while a total of Rs25,000 crore worth of works will be completed before the festival begins.
Urban Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Kumbh Mela Minister Girish Mahajan, Ministers Manikrao Kokate and Dadaji Bhuse, MPs Rajabhau Waje and Shobha Bachhav, MLAs Rahul Aher, Rahul Dhikle, Devyani Pharande, Seema Hiray, Dilip Bankar and Kishor Darade, Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar, Additional Secretary of Development Govindraja (via video conference), District Guardian Secretary Eknath Davle, Kumbh Mela Authority Chairman Pravin Gedam, and Commissioner Shekhar Singh were present, along with Mahayuti leaders and citizens.
