Three prominent Shiv Sena (UBT) candidates filed their nominations in Mumbai and Thane on Monday.
The candidate from South Mumbai, Arvind Sawant, from South Central Mumbai, Anil Desai, and Thane, Rajan Vichare, filed their papers in the presence of party leaders and workers.
The Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena candidate from South Central, Rahul Shewale, also filed his nomination for the fifth phase of the election, which will be held on May 20.
