Waste, foul smell plague Market Yard

Fruits and vegetables are seen rotting in the open at the Market Yard along Shivneri Road, creating severe unhygienic conditions and leaving residents and shopkeepers grappling with the stench and filth.

Despite repeated complaints, no lasting solution has been found, and the situation continues to deteriorate.

Vendors operating daily on Shivneri Road dump rotting or unsold produce by the roadside, causing a persistent stink and drawing swarms of flies. The problem is further aggravated by encroachments and overcrowding in the area, making the road almost impassable during peak hours.
