HC unhappy over civic election delay, seeks date from Election Commission

On Monday, a hearing was held in the court of Justice Anand Sen of the Jharkhand High Court on a contempt petition filed against the non-conduct of urban local body elections.
After the hearing, the court sought a reply from the Election Commission. The court asked when the elections would be held in the state and to provide the probable date to the court.
