J&K Retired Police Pensioners protest against pay anomaly, demand long-pending justice

Addressing the gathering, Ajit Singh outlined key demands on behalf of the forum, urging the Jammu & Kashmir UT Government to resolve long-standing grievances.

The forum criticized that the effect of the order was applied prospectively (from the date of issuance), instead of retrospectively from 1996 when the 5th Pay Commission was implemented across the state.
