BMI honors John P. Kee & Gospel Music Luminaries at 2025 BMI Trailblazers Awards

The spirit of Gospel music soared at the 2025 BMI Trailblazers of Gospel Music Awards, held at Flourish in Atlanta, where Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) celebrated a legacy of faith, artistry, and cultural impact.

This year's marquee honoree was Gospel music legend and pastor John P. Kee, recognized as a Trailblazer of Gospel Music for his groundbreaking contributions over a remarkable career spanning more than four decades.

The private, star-studded ceremony was hosted by BMI President & CEO Mike O'Neill and Catherine Brewton, Vice President, Creative, Atlanta. The event also spotlighted the year's most-performed Gospel songs, along with the presentation of BMI's Gospel Songwriter, Publisher, and Song of the Year honors.
