The 23-year-old Partington, who can play as a prop or loose forward, has a Grand Final appearance with the Warriors and won one cap for England Knights.
Despite his age, he has played more than 70 games for Wigan since his Super League debut in 2018 and was part of the side that won the 2020 League Leaders' Shield.
Partington said: "I'm over the moon to have signed for Salford. After speaking to (head coach) Paul Rowley, I knew it was the right place for me. I can't wait to get going with the lads and looking forward to meeting the fans."
