POLICE are investigating a member of staff at Forest Bank prison in Salford over allegations of sexual assault.
It follows an allegation made by another staff member, who alleges they were sexually assaulted last year.
The privately-run prison, operated by Sodexo on behalf of the Ministry of Justice, declined to comment.
A statement from GMP said: "GMP received a report of a sexual assault that is reported to have occurred in [2022]. Officers have responded to the victim and enquiries are currently ongoing at this time."
