GRIEVING FAMILY'S LOTTERY WIN
PAIGE OLDFIELD
'I feel Garry watching over us all' is

WHEN Lesley and Garry McNally moved into their dream bungalow several years ago, the loved-up couple couldn't wait to get stuck into their renovation plans.

The pair, from Salford, decided to downsize when their children fled the nest and they had many ideas for their new property. But tragedy struck eight months later when builder Garry died of a heart attack just five days after his 60th birthday.

The family was left devastated, but the loving father left a gift behind - a winning ticket on the People's Postcode Lottery.

Lesley, 54, kept playing after Garry died in September 2021 and recently scooped a £166,666 prize with her late husband's tickets.

The mum-of-three wept when lottery bosses revealed their postcode M27 9UY - had landed the whopping sum as part of the first ever Millionaire Street prize in Swinton.
