SUNDERLAND manager Tony Mowbray has drawn comparisons between United loanee Amad and Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott.
Amad, who joined the Reds from Italian club Atalanta back in January 2021, continued his excellent run of form for loan club Sunderland with a brilliant solo goal during Sunday's 2-0 Wear-Tees derby victory over Middlesbrough at the Stadium of Light. The winger netted his side's second goal of the game, curling home a left-footed effort, to seal the local bragging rights and lift them to within a point of the play-off places.
