Hat-trick hero Troy Parrott wrote his name into the history books on a magical afternoon in Budapest to book Ireland's place in today’s playoff draw.

With second place looking almost impossible to secure just days ago, the Boys in Green will learn who out of Poland, Wales, Czech Republic or Slovakia they will face in next March's playoff semifinal at noon.

Given was in goal when Robbie Keane's late strike secured a point for Ireland against Germany at the 2002 World Cup.

And he thinks Parrott’s 96th minute winner on Sunday is right up there with it, Ray Houghton's heroics and Robbie Brady's late goal against Italy at the 2016 Euros.
