GARDA computer experts helped smash an international online scam that hit businesses for more than €100million, it emerged yesterday.
The Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau was a key player in an operation codenamed Downbreaker that saw law enforcement agencies in Europe and beyond come together to shut down the so-called Hive Ransomware Group.
